Description
Try this fantastic new sport, which will leave you exhilarated
and looking for more. Learn to fly a magnificent power
kite, trying out various styles and sizes. Our qualified
guide will demonstrate some technical manoeuvres, which
you can then try out for yourself! Suitable for anyone,
no level of fitness required. Unaccompanied children
welcome.
Age Group
Suitable for age 10+ Adults must register children of
any age by completing a booking/medical form on the
day, and dropping the children off at activity.
What to bring
Waterproofs can be provided. The powerkiting takes place
in fields which can sometimes be muddy. Sturdy walking
shoes, boots or Wellingtons are advised. Suitable footwear
can be provided, please give your size at time of booking.
Bring snacks, sunscreen, and a drink.
Special Needs
Not suitable for wheelchair users. Other special needs

Where to register
Please register at the Festival information point
30 minutes before activity is due to start.
Where to meet for the activity
Participants should register at the festival information
point in the National Park Gateway Centre 30 minutes
before the session is due to start, by completing a
booking/medical form. This form must be completed by
an adult, and should be handed to the power kite instructor
before the session starts. Unaccompanied children should
be ‘dropped off’ at the activity by an adult.
If a child looks under the age of 16 they may be asked
for ID.
A mini bus will transport customers to the power kiting
site (approx 10 minutes drive). Please note, the times
listed above are the departure times for the bus.
