Description A fun introduction to open canoeing suitable
for the whole family, from children to grandparents. Sessions
led by qualified guides. Unaccompanied children from age 10
upwards welcome. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied
by an adult.
Age Group
Suitable for age 5+ Children under the age of 10 must
be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied children from
age 10 upwards welcome. Adults must register children
of any age by completing a booking/medical form on the
day, and dropping the children off at activity.
What to bring
Wear warm clothing, and bring a complete change of clothing
for each participant. If there are any asthmatics in your
party, please remember to bring inhalers. Bring sunscreen.

Where to register
Participants should register at the Festival information point 20
minutes before the session is due to start by completing a
booking/medical form. This form must be completed by an adult,
and should be handed to the canoe guide before the session
starts. Unaccompanied children should be ‘dropped off’
at the activity by an adult. If a child looks under the age
of 16 they may be asked for ID.
